Assistance League® of San Antonio

***    Caring and Comittment in Action  ***

       Presented to

    Bjorn Dybdahl

As a requirement of Assistance League every chapter must have some form of Operation School Bell.  In recognition of this an Operation School Bell Award was created for chapters to recognize outstanding contributions to this philanthropic program.

Our National President, Nancy Reberger, shared these remarks with us for the presentation of this award at our 2014 Gala.

“This national award is given to honor those who, through significant financial, in-kind or service support, have a direct, powerful and positive effect on Operation School Bell in a chapter’s community.  The support you have provided to this chapter most certainly exemplifies these characteristics.

You have demonstrated continual dedication and support to the chapter.  Your contribution to the Gala for at least 14 years has benefitted the Clothe-a-Child drive for Operation School Bell.  This patronage has been multifaceted.  It has included free advertising and encouragement of others to attend, annually purchasing a table as well as auctioned items, graciously serving as master of ceremonies, and the generous yearly donation of a video system which comes complete with delivery and installation to a happy winner.  The video system you donated to the chapter and your valued service in the Advisory Council for at least the past seven years further validates your worthiness of this award.

On behalf of Assistance League’s National Board and the more than 26,000 chapter members nationwide, I congratulate Bjorn Dybdahl and offer our sincere gratitude for his continued support to Assistance League of San Antonio."
